Note: Sleeper trains are designed and equipped according to a satisfactory standard and quality that was set up by the Egyptian Railway Authority. Sleeper train takes about 14 hours from Cairo to Aswan. However, we recommend using domestic flights with supplement US$ 95 per person instead of spending time in sleeper trains.

Itineraries

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, upon your arrival, you will find our representative waiting for you with the sign of Your Name, and then you will be transferred by A/C car to your hotel to begin your classic egypt tour experience.

Once at the hotel, Egypt trip assistant will help you with a check and then we’ll discuss your Egypt tour itinerary with you then enjoy the rest of the day any way you want. Go out and explore the Cairo city, try some local food, relax next to the pool, or simply retire to your room for some peace.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, one of our professional Egyptologist guides will meet you to begin your full-day private tour to Memphis, Saqqara, and Giza Pyramids. You’ll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as you head to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt’s Old Kingdom and an essential stop on any Classic Egypt tour package.

Spend time exploring the ruins and learning about this historic city before moving on to Saqqara, where you will visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser — the oldest pyramid in Egypt and a highlight of almost every history of Egypt tour.

Next, enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the best local restaurants in Giza awaits you. Then, you will ascend the Giza Plateau, a destination almost as legendary as the pyramids themselves. Your guide will walk you through Egypt’s most iconic sites: the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Check out after breakfast from your hotel in Cairo Begin this day with another wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun's collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was discovered.

Next move to Coptic Cairo where you will visit the "Hanging Church" which dates back to the 3rd Century AD and was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, It's called "Hanging" because of its location above the gatehouse of the ancient Roman fortress "Babylon".It contains 110 Holy icons depicting beautiful religious scenes.

Then visiting "Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church" which is believed to have been built on the spot (The Crypt) where the holy family rested at the end of their journey into Egypt tour.

And ending the Coptic Cairo tour with a visit to the "Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra" which gained its importance from its Geniza (Storeroom) was found during the 19th century and contains a treasure of abandoned Hebrew secular and sacred manuscripts

Khan el-Khalili Bazaar where traders have been selling their ware ever since the 14th century. If there is anything in particular you want to buy at Khan El Khalili bazaar, your Egypt tour guide will be happy to help you find what you are looking for. Even if you don’t want to do any shopping, the bazaar is a great place to walk around or to sit down for some coffee while you watch the locals going about with their daily lives

Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

Your classic Egypt tour continues as you Arrive at Aswan Railway station, then transfer to your hotel, Optional (not included) Abu Simbel Temple Egypt with its unique style, is considered to be the masterpiece of ancient Egypt tour. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to cooperate to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramesses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called the Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II, and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God together as one. Then transfer you back to your hotel in Aswan and Overnight in Aswan.
