8 Classic Days Tour in Cairo and Nebyt Dahabiya Nile Cruise

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel after you have your breakfast to explore the wonders of Cairo. You begin your visits by the Giza Pyramids where your Egyptologist would tell you all about the construction of these massive startling structures that used to serve as the royal necropolis of the kings of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. You discover the secrets of the Grand Pyramid of Cheops, Chechen, and Mykerinus. You will also view the greatness of the Pharaohs reflected in the Sphinx, the lion-bodied and Pharaoh-faced stone statue that protected the Giza Pyramids for years and years.

You move on with your tour afterward to visit Saqqara, one of the most interesting royal burial sites of ancient Egypt. The major highlight is the impressive Step Pyramid of Djoser, the belonged to the 3rd dynasty, more than 4500 years ago. This is the first pyramid to be built in Egypt. 

You enjoy breakfast at one of the finest local restaurants in Cairo.

Your last visit of the day would be to Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt. King Menes established Memphis city when he was able to unify Southern and Northern Egypt and establish the first dynasty. You would view the huge statue of Ramses II, the alabaster sphinx, and many other ancient displays.

You return to your hotel afterward at the end of the day and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit the Egyptian Museum, where you will admire the splendid collection of Tutankhamon alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Move to Coptic Cairo" where you will visit the "Hanging Church" which dates back to the 3rd Century AD and was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, It’s called "Hanging" because of its location above the gatehouse of the ancient Roman fortress "Babylon”. It contains 110 Holy icons depicting beautiful religious scenes.

Then visiting "Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church" which is believed to have been built on the spot (The Crypt) where the holy family rested at the end of their journey into Egypt.

And ending the Coptic Cairo tour with a visit to the "Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra" which gained its importance from its Geniza (Storeroom) was found during the 19th century and contains a treasure of abandoned Hebrew secular and sacred manuscripts

Then proceed to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East After that, you will get transferred to Cairo airport to take your flight to Luxor
Upon arriving in Luxor, you will be met and assisted by our Tour manager to transfer you to your hotel in Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle and overnight in Luxor.

Began your tour around Luxor by Exploring the wonders of the Karnak Temple this is the largest Pharaonic temple in the whole world and history. You start sailing your Nile journey. You will sail to Esna as you enjoy a delicious lunch prepared for you freshly on board. Continue sailing and enjoy dinner surrounded by the calm of the Nile River.

Your Dahabiya ship would be passing through the famous Esna lock in the morning while you are having the finest breakfast.

You begin your visits by exploring El Kab village and the distinctive temple located there. This is the Temple of Amenhotep III featured with its unique pylon. This is in addition to admiring the common Egyptian country life.

The Dahabiya ship would start sailing towards Edfu afterwards. When you reach Edfu, it would be time to visit the Temple of Horus, one of the finest preserved temples of ancient Egypt built during the Greco-Roman period more than 2000 years ago. You would be also riding a horse carriage towards the temple and back.

This chapel temple belongs to the 18th dynasty and contains several wonderful details and aspects. Then, you climb Silsela Mountain and enjoy the matchless views.

You return to your Dahabiya ship where you enjoy lunch sailing towards the Fawaza Island during lunchtime. You also indulge yourself in charm while having tea on the sundeck of the ship. In the evening, you have a great time at the BBQ carried out near the edge of Al Bashir Island.

Sailing towards Kom Ombo, you would be having lunch watching the water pass by while sailing down the Nile. Reaching Kom Ombo, you explore the wonders of the Temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the flacon god. This distinctive structure consists of two identical temples with all features. Return to the Dahabiya ship to continue sailing down the Nile towards Aswan.
