Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada Holiday Tour

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, upon your arrival, you will find our representative waiting for you with the sign of Your Name, and then you will be transferred by A/C car to your hotel.

Once at the hotel, we will assist you with a check and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you then enjoy the rest of the day any way you want. Go out and explore the city; try some local food; relax next to the pool, or simply retire to your room for some peace.

Day 2: Full Day Tour to the Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara

Breakfast would be served in your hotel in Cairo to get ready for an exciting tour of the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and Saqqara.

Your tour guide welcomes you to your hotel. You begin your tour by exploring the wonders of the Pyramids of Giza, constructed more than 4000 years ago, the most popular monuments in the whole world. You will view the greatness of the Pharaohs reflected in each detail of the huge structure of the Grand Pyramid of Cheops, in addition to the other two pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus, and the Sphinx that was built to guard the Pyramids for years.

You proceed with this distinctive tour of Egypt to visit the Necropolis of Saqqara, the richest archeological site of ancient Egypt. This is where you discover the secrets of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest surviving stone structure in the history of humankind. This is besides many other interesting monuments.

After that transfer to Memphis city which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. Then transfer to your hotel in Cairo and You have the rest day at leisure in Cairo.

Day 3: Visit the Egyptian Museum, Coptic and Islamic Cairo / Train to Aswan

Check out after breakfast from your hotel in Cairo Begin this day with another wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun's collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was discovered.

Move to Coptic Cairo" where you will visit the "Hanging Church" which dates back to the 3rd Century AD and was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, It's called "Hanging" because of its location above the gatehouse of the ancient Roman fortress "Babylon".It contains 110 Holy icons depicting beautiful religious scenes.

Then visiting "Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church" which is believed to have been built on the spot (The Crypt) where the holy family rested at the end of their journey into Egypt.

And ending the Coptic Cairo tour with a visit to the "Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra" which gained its importance from its Geniza (Storeroom) was found during the 19th century and contains a treasure of abandoned Hebrew secular and sacred manuscripts

Khan el-Khalili Bazaar where traders have been selling their ware ever since the 14th century. If there is anything in particular you want to buy at Khan El Khalili bazaar, your guide will be happy to help you find what you are looking for. Even if you don’t want to do any shopping, the bazaar is a great place to walk around or to sit down for some coffee while you watch the locals going about with their daily lives

Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

Day 4: Arrival Aswan Station / Aswan Sightseeing

Arrive at Aswan Railway station, then transfer to your hotel, Optional (not included) Abu Simbel Temple Tour with its unique style, is considered to be the masterpiece of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to cooperate to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramesses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called the Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II, and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God together as one. Then transfer you back to your hotel in Aswan and Overnight in Aswan.

NB: In case you would like to do Abu Simbel Tour, you will do it on day 5 and the Aswan sightseeing tours will be on day 4.

Day 5: Aswan Sightseeing

You enjoy breakfast on board our Egypt Nile River cruises for another magnificent day in Egypt.

You start the day by visiting the Temple of Philae. Dedicated to the gods Osiris and Isis, the temple has some magnificent features including many pylons gigantic decorated stone capitals, and many other wonders. The whole complex was relocated after the construction of the High Dam to its current location at Agilkia Island.

Your next visit would be to the High Dam, one of the greatest accomplishments of modern Egypt. Former president Gamal Abdel Nasser constructed the High Dam to preserve the water of the River Nile and produce electricity in the 1960s.

Day 6: Visit Kom Ombo / Edfu Temple

Sail to Kom Ombo, have breakfast on board, and visit Kom Ombo Temple, to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haeroris. Famous for its crocodile god and the many marvelous stone carvings, the temple is never to miss while in Egypt.

Sail to Edfu, and lunch on board after that Visit the Edfu temple to discover the secrets of the Temple of Edfu, among the best-preserved all over Egypt. Constructed over 20 centuries ago, the temple is featured with the cult of the god Horus and has many distinctive features and elements. Take afternoon tea during sailing to Esna. Dinner on board.

Day 7: Luxor West Bank (Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple

Sail to Luxor, have breakfast on board then Visit the West Bank, exploring the wonders of the Valley of the Kings, the most impressive royal necropolis of ancient Egypt. Established more than 3000 years ago, during the reign of the 18th dynasty, the tombs are quite remarkable with their colors and various decorations.

Your next visit would be to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most charming mortuary temples of all time. You will be exploring the terraces of the temple, admiring the statues of the queen disguised as a Pharaoh, in addition to the Punto section, the Chapel of Anubis, the Chapel of Goddess Hathor. and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon tea during sailing. Dinner on board.

Day 8: Luxor East Bank (Luxor and Karnak Temple) / Hurghada

Breakfast on board. Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast. Then, transfer to visit Karnak Temples, which is the largest Pharaonic temple in the whole world and history. Although established in the Middle Kingdom, the Karnak took around 2,000 years to be completed. You enjoy exploring the huge columns of the Hypostyle Hall, the avenues of the sphinxes, the sacred lake, and many other features.

You move on to the Luxor Temple, one of the finest ancient Egyptian structures of all time! This is where you view the huge colossi of Ramses II at the entrance, in addition to several other impressive sections.

In the afternoon, transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea. From Luxor to Hurghada is about a 3 hour and a half drive.

Day 9: Hurghada Vacation

Optional tours to experience diving and snorkeling among the Red Sea coral reefs and see some amazing rare fish in Hurghada city. Or choose one of the many other activities such as windsurfing/ kitesurfing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing.

Day 10: Hurghada Vacation

Optional Hurghada day tours to experience diving and snorkeling among the Red Sea coral reefs and see some amazing rare fish. Or choose one of the many other activities such as windsurfing/ kitesurfing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing.

Day 11: Back to Cairo

Breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada with free time at leisure and then you will be transferred to the bus station to take the first class coach to Cairo (about 6 hour’s drive), upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and assisted, then transferred to your hotel for free time at leisure.

Day 12: Final Departure

Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo - free time before your flight - check out and then transferred to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
