When you arrive for your 5-Day MS Esplanade Nile cruise at Luxor Airport or Train Railway Station, one of our tour representatives and a driver will greet you and take you to the dock to board your 5-Star Nile River cruise ship. Following your arrival on board your Egypt Nile cruise tours, you will eat your first meal aboard before being taken on a tour of the Luxor East Bank, which includes a visit to the Karnak Temple. In terms of both size and history, this is the biggest Pharaonic temple ever built. The Karnak took about two millennia to complete, despite being founded in the Middle Kingdom. You like to explore the sacred lake, the avenues of the sphinxes, the enormous columns of the Hypostyle Hall, and many other features.
You then proceed to the Luxor Temple, which is among the most magnificent ancient Egyptian buildings ever built! Here are the enormous colossi of Ramses II at the entrance, along with numerous striking features. After you tour the East Bank, you will return to the cruise ship in time for an amazing Egyptian Belly Dance Show. Morning enjoy your good breakfast on 5 Day MS Esplanade Nile Cruise on the cruise ship, and then our Egyptologist tour guide will take you for a tour of the Luxor West Bank. Visiting Valley of the Kings, the most impressive royal necropolis of ancient Egypt. Established more than 3000 years ago, during the reign of the 18th dynasty, the tombs are quite remarkable with their colors and various decorations. Your next visit would be to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most charming mortuary temples of all time. You will be exploring the terraces of the temple, admiring the statues of the queen disguised as a Pharaoh, in addition to the Punto section, the Chapel of Anubis, the Chapel of Goddess Hathor, and the Colossi of Memnon. spending this night of MS Esplanade Nile Cruise on the water at Esna.
First thing in the morning Breakfast is provided outside on the water while you sail towards Edfu on your early morning voyage to Esna. Your Egyptologist tour guide will greet you at Edfu and take you to see the incredibly amazing Temple of Edfu. The fact that this temple was buried under the sand for nearly 2000 years after the Romans abandoned it makes it the best-preserved temple ever found. After spending some time at the temple, you will then return to the cruise ship and it will begin sailing to Kom Ombo. On arrival at Kom Ombo, you will once again disembark from the ship, and you will be taken to see the Kom Ombo Temple which was dedicated to two different gods. One half of the temple was dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, while the other half was dedicated to Horus the falcon-headed god. Because this temple was dedicated to two different gods, both halves had to be identical to each other. Following your visit to the temple, you will return to the cruise ship, and it will then sail to Aswan where you'll be spending this night on the water.
After another delicious meal on board the ship, your Egyptologist tour guide will take you on a quick tour of Aswan. Three breathtaking locations in Aswan will be shown to you on this tour, including the Temple of Philae and the Aswan High Dam. The temple, which is devoted to the gods Osiris and Isis, is full of amazing characteristics, such as enormous decorated stone capitals and numerous pylons. All of the complex's components were moved to Agilkia Island once the High Dam was constructed.
Next, proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk for the day's excursion. Owing to a fracture in the base of the obelisk, this enormous building remained intact when the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom abandoned it. An enlightening explanation of the techniques employed by the Pharaohs to build these enormous obelisks and the rationale behind their construction will be provided during the visit to the Unfinished Obelisk. After your Aswan day tours, you will make your way back to the cruise ship in time for a delicious lunch. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like. After another delicious dinner in the evening, tea will be provided as usual in the afternoon. At night, there will be a very entertaining Nubian Folkloric Show. Enjoy the last night on the tranquil waters of the Nile River in Aswan.
This is the last day of your Nile Cruise. After breakfast, you will check out of the cruise and, depending on your next destination, be transported to the airport or railway station. Officially, your MS Esplanade Nile Cruise will end when you get to the train or airport.
