Egypt shore Excursion Deluxe Tours representative will pick you up from Port Said port upon your cruise ship arrival by the exit door, holding a sign of your name. After that you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo city break, approximately 3 hours, joining a police convoy till reaching Cairo.
Your tour begins with your first visit to the Giza Pyramids. You will see the great pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, While listening to your Egyptologist, you will have a memorable time that you would never forget. Next, you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the Giza Plateau, where you can see all pyramids and take awesome pictures for all the pyramids together in one marvelous shot. Then, you proceed to the sphinx distinguished with the head of a pharaoh and a lion's body. It dates back to the era of Chephren, The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple that belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.

Breakfast in your hotel, then you will be escorted by your tour guide to have an excursion to visit the most interesting museum, the Egyptian Museum. It features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum hosts a rare collection of 5000 years of art and brilliance. It is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian monuments in the whole world. Over 250,000 artifacts are exhibited, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry.
Afterwards, you proceed to explore the Citadel of Saladin & the Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Near the end of the Fatimid Caliphate (969 – 1178 CE), the Muslim ruler of Damascus struggled with the Crusaders to protect the Holy Lands & Jerusalem, Therefore, he sent one of his followers, Saladin, to control Egypt and to put an end to the Fatimid Caliphate. This is in addition to getting Egypt back to the Sunni doctrine of Islam. Saladin managed to do this and became the Caliph himself (1174 CE). Saladin decided to build a Citadel to defend Cairo against any potential attack. The Citadel became the seat of the government for decades afterwards, until another Egyptian King, "Mohamed Ali", decided to build a mosque and a mausoleum for himself, in (1831 CE). Mohamed Ali was the founder of modern Egypt and the last Royal family of Egypt. His mosque at the citadel is a distinctive piece of art and architecture.
