Most of the monuments, historical sites, and museums in Egypt open from 7 AM until 5 PM. Open-air historical sites, like the Pyramids of Giza, are open from 7:00 Am until 16:pm. Some museums have morning opening hours, from 9 AM to 4 PM evening opening hours, from 5 PM to 9 or 10 PM. during Ramadan, monthbe aware that these hours will change significantly. Sightseeing during Ramadan Month closed by 15:00pm.

Egypt is a relaxed country although relatively modest dress is recommended. wearing shorts for men in Cairo and other cities is common among Egyptians. Dressing with relative modesty is a way of respecting the local culture. The metro in Cairo has separate cars for women that might be more comfortable, especially during rush hours when the cars can be very full.

In a restaurant, it is good to give between 5% and 10% tip directly to the waiter. For a small favor, like carrying luggage or parking a car, a few Egyptian pounds would be appropriate. Tipping your tour guide and vehicle driver is completely optional but should be considered if you're provided with great service. If you decide to tip feel free to give what you think your experience was worth.

    Day 1
    Arrival and Aswan Sightseeing
    • Whether you will be arriving in Aswan by train or by plane, one of our tour managers will be waiting to meet you at the airport or the train station. Once they have given you a warm welcome, they will escort you to the area where you will be boarding the beautiful MS Mayfair cruise ship which is quite literally a floating hotel.
    • Once you have boarded and checked in, you will have some time to settle in, and then you will be served your first onboard lunch. Enjoy your lunch, and then you will be disembarking and you will be taken to see the main attractions of Aswan Temple of Philae. Dedicated to the gods Osiris and Isis, the temple has some magnificent features including many pylons gigantic decorated stone capitals and many other wonders. The whole complex was relocated after the construction of the High Dam to its current location at the Agilkia Island. 
    • Then move to visit of the day would be to the Unfinished Obelisk. This huge structure was left untouched after the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom deserted it because of a fault in the bottom of the obelisk. The visit to the Unfinished Obelisk would include an interesting explanation of the methods used by the Pharaohs to construct these huge obelisks and the reasons behind their building.
    • Tonight, you will be sleeping on the water in Aswan.

    Day 2
    Kom Ombo to Edfu and on to Esna
    • Wake up to a delicious onboard breakfast, and then enjoy a wonderfully relaxing cruise to Kom Ombo. Spend the morning lounging around by the pool, at around midday, you will again be served a delicious onboard lunch, followed by some afternoon tea a little bit later in the day.
    • Shortly after your afternoon tea, you will be taken to see Kom Ombo temple to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haeroris. Famous for its crocodile god and the many marvelous stone carving, the temple is never to miss while in Egypt.
    • Following your visit to Kom Ombo Temple, you will return to the Boat, and it will set sail for Edfu where you will enjoy another excursion, this time to see the ancient Horus Temple, which is also sometimes called Edfu Temple. Temple of Edfu, among the best-preserved all over Egypt. Constructed over 20 centuries ago, the temple is featured with the cult of god Horus and has many distinctive features and elements.  
    • On arrival back at your cruise ship, you will have a little bit of free time for yourself, and then it will be time for another excellent onboard dinner. You will spend this night of your luxury Nile cruise itinerary on the water at Edfu.

    Day 3
    Esna to Luxor and Luxor Sightseeing
    • Today once again kicks off with an early start as your boat begins sailing to Luxor. Enjoy a nice wholesome breakfast along the way, and prepare yourself for what many consider to be the highlight of this cruise, a visit to the West Bank in Luxor.
    • Visit the Valley of the Kings, the most impressive royal necropolis of ancient Egypt. Established more than 3000 years ago, during the reign of the 18th dynasty, the tombs are quite remarkable with their colors and various decorations. 
    • Your next visit would be to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most charming mortuary temples of all time. You will be exploring the terraces of the temple, admire the statues of the queen disguised as a Pharaoh, in addition to the Punto section, the Chapel of Anubis, and the Chapel of Goddess Hathour.
    • Lastly, you be taken to see the ancient Colossi of Memnon before enjoying another good onboard lunch.
    • After lunch you will continue sightseeing, this time visiting the Karnak Temple.  This is the largest Pharaonic temple in the whole world and in history. Although established in the Middle Kingdom, the Karnak took around 2,000 years to be completed. You enjoy exploring the huge columns of the Hypostyle Hall, the avenues of the sphinxes, the sacred lake, and many other features. 
    • You move on to the Luxor Temple, one of the finest ancient Egyptian structures of all time! This is where you view the huge colossi of Ramses II at the entrance, in addition to several other impressive sections.
    • Enjoy another fine dinner and another comfortable night’s rest on board your river boat.

    Day 4
    Breakfast and Disembarkation
    • Today marks the end of your magical 4-day Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise. Enjoy onboard breakfast, and then it will be time for you to say any goodbyes and disembark. Once again, one of our tour representatives will be standing by waiting for you, and they will transfer you to the airport or to Luxor railway station, depending on what your travel plans are.
