After breakfast is served in the hotel, you will be ready to explore the wonders of Cairo. You begin your visits by the Giza Pyramids where your Egyptologist would tell you all about the construction of these massive startling structures that used to serve as the royal necropolis of the kings of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. You discover the secrets of the Grand Pyramid of Cheops, Chechen, and Mykerinus. You will also view the greatness of the Pharaohs reflected in the Sphinx, the lion-bodied and Pharaoh-faced stone statue that protected the Giza Pyramids for years and years.
Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant. Then transfer to enjoy the Egyptian Museum which is home to more than 250,000 genuine artifacts.
The Museum also houses the world's largest collection of Egyptian art which covers roughly 5,000 years. Your tour also includes admittance to the Museum's Royal Treasures Room which houses all the jewelry and artifacts that were recovered from King Tutankhamen's tomb after being buried for more than 3,500 years. Continue to Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar Khan el-Khalili Bazaar where traders have been selling their ware ever since the 14th century. If there is anything you want to buy at the bazaar, your guide will be happy to help you find what you are looking for. Even if you don't want to do any shopping, the bazaar is a great place to walk around or to sit down for some coffee while you watch the locals going out with their daily lives. Then transfer back to your hotel in Cairo and Overnight
After breakfast is served at the hotel, our tour guide will welcome you at the reception of the hotel. After checking out, you ride in one of our modern comfortable vehicles towards the Cairo Airport to take the domestic flight towards Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, Deluxe Tour tour guide will welcome you to be transferred to your Nile Cruise ship to check-in Once you have boarded and checked in, you will have some time to settle in, and then you will be served your first onboard lunch. Enjoy your lunch, and then you will disembark and you will be taken to see the main attractions of Aswan's most famous attractions, the Aswan High Dam is one of the greatest accomplishments of modern Egypt. Former president Gamal Abdel Nasser constructed the High Dam to preserve the water of the River Nile and produce electricity in the 1960s. Then move to visit the Temple of Philae. Dedicated to the gods Osiris and Isis, the temple has some magnificent features including many pylons gigantic decorated stone capitals, and many other wonders. The whole complex was relocated after the construction of the High Dam to its current location at Agilkia Island. After visiting all the amazing sites, you will then return to the cruise ship where you will of course have some time for yourself before sitting down to a wonderful onboard dinner in the evening. After dinner, the remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy as you wish.
Wake up to an onboard breakfast, and then enjoy a wonderfully relaxing cruise to Kom Ombo. Spend the morning lounging around by the pool. At around midday, you will again be served a delicious onboard lunch, followed by some afternoon tea a little bit later in the day. Shortly after your afternoon tea, you will be taken to see the Kom Ombo temple to visit the Temple of two Gods, Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility, and the falcon-headed Horus. This is where you enjoy exploring all the wonders of the temple.
Following your visit to Kom Ombo Temple, you will return to the Boat, and it will set sail for Edfu where you will enjoy another excursion, this time to see the ancient Horus Temple, which is also sometimes called Edfu Temple. Dedicated to the falcon god, Horus, one of the most impactful gods of ancient Egypt, this marvelous temple is the best-preserved temples of the Ptolemaic period in Egypt. On arrival back at your cruise ship, you will have a little bit of free time for yourself, and then it will be time for another excellent onboard dinner. You will spend this night of your Nile cruise at Edfu.
Morning breakfast, Then you will be leaving Edfu shortly after you have had your breakfast, and it will then sail towards Luxor, with lunch and afternoon tea being served along the way. On arrival at Luxor, you will be taken to see the remarkable Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple on the East Bank of Luxor, the Karnak Temple, an amazing complex that took more than 1000 years to be completed as each king and Pharaoh wanted to have his contribution added to it. You visit the startling hypostyle hall constructed by Ramses II, the sacred lake, several obelisks, and much more. Your next visit would be to the Luxor Temple, another fascinating temple of ancient Egypt. Featured with the two huge statues of Ramses II at the entrance, the temple was constructed more than 3000 years, today it shows how great, and brilliant the Pharaohs were with a civilization that existed for thousands of years. Overnight aboard your Nile cruise in Luxor.
Last day in the Nile cruise itinerary ends today, but still there is more sightseeing to visit in Luxor before your departure. Enjoy your onboard breakfast, and then it will soon be time for you to check-out and disembark. After disembarkation, Visit the West Bank of Luxor, or the city of the Dead as the Pharaohs used to call it. You start your visits by exploring the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most charming mortuary temples of ancient Egypt. Famous Queen Hatshepsut constructed this temple which is featured with its terraces, statues of the queen disguised as a Pharaoh, and the chapels of Anubis and Hathour.
Your next visit to the West Bank would be to the Colossi of Memnon. These two huge statues represent the only remaining section of the once glorious temple of Amenhotep III. Your last visit of the day would be to the Valley of the Kings, the richest necropolis of ancient Egypt. Starting from the 18th dynasty, kings began digging their tombs inside the mountains to hide them away from robbers. The best tombs today include the popular tomb of Tut Ankh Amun, the tomb of Tuthomsis III, and many other beautifully colored tombs. Later you will be transferred to Luxor International Airport for flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Cairo and overnight.
Enjoy a breakfast at your hotel and then head out to Cairo Airport for your final departure back to your homeland.
