When you arrive at the Luxor airport or Train Railway Station for your 5-day MS Farah Nile cruise, one of our drivers and tour agents will greet you and drive you to the port, where your 5-star Nile River cruise ship will be waiting for you. You will have your first on-board meal upon boarding your luxurious cruise ship with Egypt Nile River Cruises tour, and after that, you will be taken on a tour of the Luxor East Bank, which will include a visit to the Karnak Temple. The world's largest Pharaonic temple in both history and geography is this one. Despite being founded in the Middle Kingdom, the Karnak took almost two millennia to build. You take pleasure in investigating the enormous columns of the Hypostyle Hall, the sphinxes avenues, the holy lake, and many other features.
Next, you visit the Luxor Temple, regarded as one of the most magnificent ancient Egyptian buildings ever built! Here you may see various more striking portions as well as the enormous colossi of Ramses II at the entryway. You will return to the cruise ship in time for an amazing Egyptian Belly Dance Show after your East Bank excursion. The ship will feed you a delicious supper later in the day, and in the evening there will be an on-board disco. sleeping in your stateroom on the water in Luxor on the first night of your 5-day MS Esplanade Nile Cruise.
After a hearty breakfast during your five-day MS Farah Nile cruise, our Egyptologist tour guide will take you on a tour of Luxor's West Bank, stopping at the Valley of the Kings, the most magnificent royal necropolis in ancient Egypt. The tombs were built during the 18th dynasty, more than 3000 years ago, and are renowned for their colors and variety of ornamentation. One of the most exquisite tomb temples ever discovered is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is where you should go next. Explore the temple's terraces, take in the statues of the queen masquerading as a pharaoh, the Punto area, the Chapel of Anubis, the Chapel of Goddess Hathor, and the Colossi of Memnon, spending this night of MS Esplanade Nile Cruise on the water at Esna.
Early in the Morning Breakfast is served on the sea as you cruise towards Edfu on your way to Esna, which is quite early in the morning. Your Egyptologist tour guide will take you to view the very stunning Temple of Edfu or Horus when you arrive at Edfu. Because it was buried under the sand and stayed that way for nearly 2000 years after the Romans abandoned it, this temple is the best-preserved ever found.
Upon your return to the cruise ship, you will embark on a journey to Kom Ombo after spending some time at the temple. After disembarking from the ship once more, you will reach Kom Ombo where you will be shown the Kom Ombo Temple, which was built in honor of two distinct gods. The falcon-headed god Horus was the object of devotion in one part of the temple, while the crocodile-headed god Sobek was in the other. The two sections of this temple had to be similar since they were dedicated to two separate gods. When you return to the cruise ship after you tour the temple, it will sail to Aswan, where you will spend this evening at sea.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Savor another delicious breakfast on board the ship before going on a quick tour of Aswan with your Egyptologist tour guide. You will explore three spectacular sights in Aswan during this tour, which includes the Temple of Philae and the Aswan High Dam. The temple, which honors the gods Osiris and Isis, is home to several pylons, enormously ornate stone capitals, and other marvels. The complex was moved to its present site on Agilkia Island following the construction of the High Dam.
Next on the itinerary for the day is a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk. Because of a flaw in the obelisk's base, the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom abandoned this enormous edifice, leaving it unaltered. An intriguing explanation of the techniques and motivations behind the construction of these enormous obelisks by the Pharaohs would be provided during the visit to the Unfinished Obelisk. After your tour, you'll get back to the cruise ship in time for a satisfying lunch, after which you may spend the rest of the day as you like. Tea will be provided in the afternoon as usual, and in the evening there will be another delicious meal. There will be a highly exciting Nubian tonight. Enjoy the last night on the tranquil waters of the Nile River in Aswan.
Today will be the last day of your Nile Cruise, after having your breakfast check-out from the cruise then be driven to the airport or the railway station depending on what your onward travel plans are.
