    Day 2: Pyramids and Egyptian Museum and Bazaar Tour - Train to Aswan

    Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo before checking out, and then your personal tour guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then, head out to the Egyptian Museum hosting the largest number of ancient Egyptian displays. The museum exhibit more than 120 thousand pieces extending from the pre-dynastic period to the Roman era. This is where you learn all about Pharaonic history and culture. The most important highlights include the collection of Tut Ankh Amun. Continue to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar where traders have been selling their ware ever since the 14th century.     Your next visit in the West Bank would be to the Colossi of Memnon. These two huge statues represent the only remaining section of the once glorious temple of Amenhotep III. 
    Your last visit of the day would be to the Valley of the Kings, the richest necropolis of ancient Egypt. Starting from the 18th dynasty, kings began digging their tombs inside the mountains to hide them away from robbers. The best tombs today include the popular tomb of Tut Ankh Amun, the tomb of Tuthomsis III, and many other beautifully colored tombs.

    Lunch on board; proceed to visit East Bank (Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple). 
    Then Move to visit Karnak Temples,the Karnak Temple, the amazing complex that took more than 1000 years to be completed as each king and Pharaoh wanted to have his contribution added to it. You visit the startling hypostyle hall constructed by Ramses II, the sacred lake, several obelisks, and much more. 
    Your next visit would be to the Luxor Temple, another fascinating temple of ancient Egypt. Featured with the two huge statues of Ramses II at the entrance, the temple was constructed more than 3000 years, today it shows how great, and brilliant the Pharaohs were with a civilization that existed for thousands of years. Later, you’ll head to the Luxor train station to catch the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board the train.
