Note: Egyptian trains are designed and maintained according to standards of quality determined by the Egyptian Railway Authority. The sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan takes about 14 hours, and the journey from Luxor to Cairo takes about 11 hours. To reduce your travel time, you can upgrade your trip package for about $175 per person to travel by domestic flight instead (about 1.5 hours).

    Day 1: Arrival in Cairo - Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs

    Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport and provide an entry visa for Egypt and then he will escort you to your hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist you to have a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

    Day 2: Full Day Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum and Islamic Cairo / Train to Luxor
    Visiting: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

    Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo before checking out, and then your personal tour guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Giza pyramids for a wonderful tour to discover the secrets of the pyramid of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. Afterwards, you will move up the Giza Plateau; which is the highest point to see all the pyramids and take impressive pictures. You will get prepared to start your adventure on the camel in the desert around the pyramids (Optional tour).
    Then, you proceed to visit the Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of Chephren as well. 
    You will enjoy lunch at a recommended local restaurant.
    You move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum hosts a rare collection of 5000 years of art and brilliance. It is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian monuments in the whole world. Over 250,000 artifacts are exhibited, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry.

    Then you proceed to one of the most interesting and oldest markets in Egypt and all over the globe. Khan El-Khalili. This is one of the amazing touristic markets in the Middle East. Traders have been selling their goods in Khan El Khalili since the 14th century. If there is anything in particular you want to purchase in Khan El Khalili, your guide will be happy to help you find what you are looking for. Even if you don’t want to do any shopping, Khan El Khalili is a wonderful place to walk around, or to sit for some coffee while you watch Egyptians going about with their daily routine. Afterwards, you will be transferred
    Later you will be transferred to the gorgeous Giza railway station to catch the sleeper train from Cairo to Luxor. Dinner will be served on board.

    Day 3: Luxor West and East Bank Sightseeing
    Visits: Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple.

    Upon your arrival at the Luxor train station, you will be met and assisted by a Deluxe Tours representative, and then you’ll begin your Luxor excursion. Be ready for some of the most interesting tombs of the West Bank of the Nile River Exploring the wonders of the Valley of the Kings, the most impressive royal necropolis of ancient Egypt. Established more than 3000 years ago, during the reign of the 18th dynasty, the tombs are quite remarkable with their colors and various decorations. 
    Your next visit would be to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most charming mortuary temples of all time. You will be exploring the terraces of the temple, admire the statues of the queen disguised as a Pharaoh, in addition to the Punto section, the Chapel of Anubis, and the Chapel of Goddess Hathour. and the Colossi of Memnon
    Then move to the East Bank visit Karnak Temples, this is the largest Pharaonic temple in the whole world and in history. Although established in the Middle Kingdom, the Karnak took around 2,000 years to be completed. You enjoy exploring the huge columns of the Hypostyle Hall, the avenues of the sphinxes, the sacred lake, and many other features. 
    You Continue on to the Luxor Temple, one of the finest ancient Egyptian structures of all time! This is where you view the huge colossi of Ramses II at the entrance, in addition to several other impressive sections.

    Day 4: Luxor visit Edfu Temple / Aswan Sightseeing
    Visits: Edfu Temple, High Dam, Philae Temple, Elephantine Island.

    After breakfast, board your air-conditional, vehicle and head to Aswan. In the way to Aswan you will stop to visit one of the main temples in the ancient Egypt,Edfu temple the Temple of Horus, discovering the secrets of the Temple of Edfu, among the best-preserved all over Egypt. Constructed over 20 centuries ago, the temple is featured with the cult of god Horus and has many distinctive features and elements
    Upon arrival to Aswan, head to visit the Temple of Philae. Dedicated to the gods Osiris and Isis, the temple has some magnificent features including many pylons gigantic decorated stone capitals and many other wonders. The whole complex was relocated after the construction of the High Dam to its current location at the Agilkia Island. 
    Your next visit would be to the High Dam, one of the greatest accomplishments of modern Egypt. Former president Gamal Abdel Nasser constructed the High Dam to preserve the water of the River Nile and produce electricity in 1960s.  
    Later, you’ll head back to the hotel in Aswan for check-in and overnight in Aswan.

    Day 5: Abu Simbel Temple Private Tour / Train to Cairo
    Visits: Abu Simbel Temples.

    You’ll start your day early with a breakfast box at 4:00 am, and then begin your tour to Abu Simbel Temples, about 3.5 hours away by car. Abu Simbel Temple Tour with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.   

    you’ll encounter the remarkable temples built for Ramses II and his beloved queen Nefertari. These temples near the Sudanese border are iconic for their beauty, but remarkable for their modern history as well -- they were completely relocated in 1968 to avoid submersion by the massive Lake Nasser. After your time spent exploring the temples, you’ll return to Aswan and board the sleeper train for an overnight trip back to Cairo.

    Enjoy a free day in Cairo, or take an optional trip to Alexandria 
    Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or any other location around Cairo. You will drive in one of our comfortable cars for around 3 hours towards Alexandria.
    The first place you explore is the famous Roman tombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, which consists of three levels. This is one of the most mysterious royal tombs in Egypt. Afterwards, we move towards the famous Pompey Pillar, the only remaining items of a once great Roman temple. You would listen to many stories about it with qualified Egyptologist. 
    Your next visit would be to the fortress of Qaitbay that is the best-preserved Mamluk military construction in Egypt. Finally, you will explore the famous library (new Alexandria library, the library is closed every Friday and National days) which has the fourth rank among the libraries all over the world. This is a replica of the Ancient Library of Alexandria. 
    Enjoy lunch at a good quality restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
    Then you will go back directly to your hotel in Cairo. Return back to Cairo.
